August 16, 2010 – The Keener the Sensibilities – Master Key Coaching Teleseminars

The real highlight of this week’s Master Key Coaching Teleseminar was the Question & Answer session. As I’ve written — and said — when I began doing these calls, that part of the call is the “meat and potatoes.” This session was a particularly good one as we delved a little deeper into Week Two of The Master Key System.

Before I began my monologue, I mentioned that I was interviewed by Deborah Hill on her Internet radio show. You can find the interview at www.blogtalkradio.com/intuitivecoach. It was a fun and interesting interview. I hope that you enjoy it as well.

At this early stage in our exploration of The Master Key System, we can already see how things are being tied together. It is about thinking — thinking properly!

From Haanel‘s Letter of Transmittal for Week Two we find

The keener the sensibilities, the more acute the judgment, the more delicate the taste, the more refined the moral feelings, the more subtle the intelligence, the loftier the aspiration—the purer and more intense are the gratifications which existence yields. Hence, it is that the study of the best that has been thought in the world gives supreme pleasure.

Thinking is not merely visualizing. It is not taking what someone else says as gospel. It is not merely “allowing” things to happen.

Thinking — true, vigorous thinking — is that “missing link” between visualizing what we want and actually receiving it. It is the making of plans, it is the compilation of data, it is the learning of knowledge. As we study, as we grow, as we experience, we have a greater pool from which to form and collect ideas.

In the words of Haanel, this is the “hard work.”

It is also the reason those who cultivate the ability to think make the “big bucks.”

A doctor will study for ten plus years, do low-paying residencies, and accumulate mountains of school debt. When all is said and done, though, he will be able to veritably write his own pay check.

The same holds true for anyone who accumulates rarified knowledge or cultivates a unique talent in a field: lawyers, engineers, scientists, athletes, investors, writers. Need I continue?

Think of the people to whom you pay money on a regular basis. In general, you will find that they are the people who perform a task or have a skill that you need. It is a task or skill in which the person became educated.

In other words, the person truly learned how to think.

They then saw a problem and created a solution for it.

You can do this, too.

Please enjoy this episode of the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars. Pay special attention to the Question & Answer session. The questions were great.

How do we train the subconscious mind to overcome fear?

How do we use our feelings to help us make decisions?

Why didn’t Haanel mention the usefulness or importance of dreams and dreaming in Week Two?

Is one’s ego the same as his conscious mind?

Until next week, I wish you all the best!
